Terms of Service

Last updated October 23, 2026Version 2026-10-23

These terms are the agreement between you and VFX+ when you use VFX+ Studio: the web app at studio.vfx.plus, the Director app and VFX+ Desktop. By creating an account or using the studio you accept them, together with the Privacy Policy, the Credits & refunds policy and the Acceptable use policy, which are part of these terms.

1. Who you are dealing with

VFX+ Studio is run by two companies. If your studio is billed in India, your agreement is with VFX+, our Indian company. Everywhere else, your agreement is with VFX+, our company outside India. In these pages "VFX+", "we" and "us" mean the company your studio contracts with. Their registered details are on the Contact page.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract. If you use VFX+ for a company, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

  • Give your real name and an email address you control. An account made with an email and password works once you confirm the email.
  • Keep your password and your sign-in methods (Google, Apple) to yourself. One account is one person; do not share it. Signing in on a new browser ends the session on the old one.
  • Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.

3. Studios and members

Work happens inside a studio. The person who creates a studio is its owner. The owner decides who joins, what each member can open, and pays for the studio's work. The owner is responsible for what the studio's members do in it.

A new studio starts with the free modules, on pay as you go. Production and Micro Drama, and the Team plan for several people, are switched on by our team on request and carry the monthly minimums described below. In a studio with members, each member's work is private to them; the owner sees all of it and can share it with chosen members or open the studio to everyone.

4. Credits, prices and fees

Work in the studio is paid for with credits from the studio's prepaid wallet. Without credits in the wallet, no paid work can run. At the standard rate, 100 credits cost US$1. The price of every paid action is shown in credits before it runs, and it runs only when you confirm. Credits never expire.

Create, Ads and Director are pay as you go, with no monthly minimum. Production and Micro Drama have a monthly minimum of US$199 per user, and the Team plan US$399 a month; each minimum is paid in as credits of the same value.

Credit purchases are final: we do not refund credits, used or unused, except where the law requires it. Buyers in India pay VFX+ in Indian rupees with GST at 18%; everyone else pays VFX+ in US dollars. The full rules are in Credits & refunds.

5. Your content and what you make

What you upload (scripts, pictures, video, voices, music) stays yours. What the studio makes with VFX+ (pictures, video, sound, text) belongs to the studio, subject to the terms of the AI model makers whose models produced it, which can limit some uses.

You give us the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, send it to the model that does the job you asked for, process it, and show it to the members of your studio. Nothing is shown outside your studio unless someone in it shares it, for example with a share link or by publishing to the public gallery.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload. A face or a voice of a real person may be uploaded only with that person's consent (see the Acceptable use policy).

6. Acceptable use

You agree to follow the Acceptable use policy. Prompts, uploads and results are checked automatically for safety, and a job can be refused for what it asks for. We may remove content and pause or close an account or a studio that breaks the policy.

7. AI results

Results are made by AI models. They can be wrong, look unlike what you described, or resemble existing work or real people by chance. Check every result before you use or publish it; you are responsible for how you use it. Two studios can get similar results from similar prompts.

The models on offer, their prices and their limits change over time. A price change applies only to work started after it; the price shown before you confirm is the price you are charged at most.

8. Pausing and closing

We may pause an account or a studio, or stop its paid work, when money owed is not paid, a payment is disputed or reversed, there are signs of fraud or account sharing, or the Acceptable use policy is broken. Where we can, we tell you why and what would lift the pause.

You can stop using VFX+ at any time. To delete your account, use Delete my account. You are signed out everywhere at once, and our team then erases the account's personal data, usually within 7 days. Films and other work made inside a studio belong to that studio and stay with it. Credits left in a wallet are not paid out (see Credits & refunds).

9. The service

We work to keep VFX+ available and your work safe, but the service is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise it will be free of interruptions or errors, or that a particular model will stay on offer.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost opportunity or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what your studio paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

When these terms change we publish the new version here with its date. For a change that matters to you, we tell you in the studio or by email before it applies, and we may ask you to accept the new version to keep using the studio.

11. Contact
